Electronic Reports
Transcribed reports are normally printed at a hospital site, but AccuScribe interfaces directly with hospital systems, or can send a password encoded E-mail to physicians.
Secure Transfer
When a recorded dictation is ready to be retrieved by a transcriptionist or editor, the audio file is streamed securely from DocQmanage servers directly to the user who is accessing DocQscribe. The voice and associated text files are transmitted over the Internet via a Secure Socket Layer connection, at a minimum of 128-bit encryption, complying with HIPAA standards.
Industry Standard Format
We provide the electronic version of the document with all fields tagged using XML, or the new Internet data tagging system HL-7, the health care industry standard. The completed electronic documents are returned securely and formatted to predefined standards, allowing integration into Electronic Patient Records.
Searchable Content and Integration with Coding Systems
XML data tagging enables documents to be readily indexed, searched, uploaded into hospital databases and integrated into downstream coding systems. This saves time, avoids further processing costs, and maximizes the value of each report.
